New Equipment Sales Representative – New England Job Description
Weld Power, a pioneer in the generator equipment/service industry, is seeking a sales representative to expand their business footprint in New England. Candidates will work at our office with expectations of at least 50% of your time seeing customers. The primary goal is to visit, quote and sell generators and ATS equipment to new customers as well as current customers from leads that come through our Service Dept. Candidates with experience in Generators/ATS equipment and monitoring/managing a fleet of rental generators is a plus but not required. We will provide comprehensive training to ensure your success.
Principal Responsibilities
Identify and establish contact with potential new customers.
Schedule meetings with potential customers to discuss the services we offer.
Quote all aspects of generator equipment (generators, ATS, Remote Monitoring)
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
Review and price contracts.
Follow up on all quoted work and document activity within HubSpot.
Work with vendors/subcontractors to get updated pricing/lead times.
Overseeing/managing install from start to finish when quoting Turnkey.
Work with other departments (Service, Parts, Accounting) to ensure a great customer experience.
Monitor/Manage our fleet of rental generators.
Attending industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers.
Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic.
Qualifications
New B2B sales experience required
2+ years of selling a mechanical product or solution required
Driver’s license/reliable transportation required
Willingness to travel locally in designated territory required
